first polo in lublin this year

I had a chance to take part in the first polo in 2017 in Lublin on this gloomy Sunday. Even though on loaner bikes, it was awesome to play with the boys, and THIS COURT!! <3 Hopefully, we will be able soon to get a court of this caliber for BPCK!

7th polish champs

Yet another #throwbackthursday post. Last month we went to Lublin again, this time to find out who's the Polish Hardcourt Bike Polo Champion 2016. The court was sick as always, a little wet at times, but it was definitelly one of the best Polish champs ever. It's funny how It's kind of an obligatory tournament each year, but also one that gathers Polish polo family together! Great people, awesome food, and really good quality polo! Can't believe we've been playing for over seven years!!

Last weekend Bike Polo Lublin hosted their first international tournament - Kaftan Open 2016. They'd waited five years of polo in this beautiful city in east Poland to throw an event like this, but it was definitely worth the wait. On the smooth surface of Poland's one and only polo-specific court we had a lot of fun and quality polo with friends from Poland, Latvia, Finland, Ireland, Austria and Lithuania. Fidget Midgets (Kraków, Vienna) beat Excuse the Mess (Stara Wieś, Warszawa) in the final, congrats Adi, Olej and Mateen. Have a look at the final game footage here.
