My name is Stan and I play bike polo. I've been playing consequently since 2009, when I was one of the six or seven people who started polo in Krakow. Over the years Bike Polo Club Krakow have grown to become the strongest polo Community in this part of Europe. We rarely win tournaments, but instead we throw terrific ones, e.g. the Kubota Cup, the 3rd Polish National Champs (2012) or the EHBPC 2013.
Enough about Krakow Bike Polo though. I've been taking photographs since 2004, digital since 2007. I've always had a lot of pictures from bike polo, didn't really know what to do with them. I didn't want to overwhelm my photoblog with polo shots, therefore I came up with bikepolove - a result of love to photography and polo.
Since it came to life in 2012, bikepolove evolved to be a photoblog of my polo encounters: mostly photo updates of bike polo in Krakow and Warsaw, but also travels: across the USA (in San Fran, LA, Lancaster,Philly and NYC), in London, Berlin, Hungary.....
Bikepolove will continue to document whatever I see in the poloverse and hopefully give people across the world a taste of what polo looks like in Poland and all the other places I'll have a chance to visit!
