| A week ago I had a chance to play in Warsaw for the first time in a while. It was great polo, with players from Warsaw, Kraków, but also Germany, Barcelona and Oslo! Great summer evening, under the rainbow. Posting just a few pictures from one game - I was playing all the time! |

| For most of the time I lived in Warszawa, the basketball court at Foksal street was the home to Warsaw's bike polo scene (ghettocourt bike polo, and later bike polo warszawa). At some point last year they were evicted from there, but kept on playing trespassing polo (check this instagram picture I took a year ago). Eventually they couldn't play there anymore, but now polo @ foxal is back. Last Saturday I went to check it out! |

| The last tournament of the season. Warsaw Open in its fourth edition was an international tournament which, as usual, connected western and eastern European polo. Sixteen teams from ten cities (Warsaw, Kraków, Lublin, Berlin, Leipzig, Nürnberg, Riga, Pardubice, Prague, Vilnius) competed for the WO4 Championship. Congrats to Madej, Pajac and Szemek for the double final win! It was so much fun watching different styles of polo and enjoying one of the last nice autumn weekends in a beautiful Warsaw suburb of Anin, 30 minute polo bike ride from the center. | Daylight savings (zmiana czasu :) no longer screws with daylight during the week, so we're able to meet up at the Foxal court in downtown Warsaw. Haven't played here in a while (haven't played polo in a while in general), and it was great to play on the super smooth and grippy concrete again. Also, we had enough people to fight for who's in the next pickup which is always a sign polo is picking up after the slower, winter season. |
